In aqueous solution with 8-12 % methanol for stabilization
It is of enormous importance to store the product in a room with not less than 20°C to avoid precipitations of paraformaldehyde.
This paraformaldehyde agglutinates and is for most purposes unusable.
A longer storage time should be avoided for the same reason.
Formaldehyde is only available in 30 l PE-cans.
