… with mounting a drum tap
This is what a drum tap looks like, which you can attach to our 200 l barrels. | | | To install a drum tap, the small sheet pile hole on the top of the barrel must be opened. This is done best with a suitable barrel key, if you don’t have one on hand, a pair of tongs will do the same (see figure). | Spread the tongs slightly, turn on the small lid and remove. | | | Now the thread of the tap must be wrapped with sealing tape (available from us) to be able to install the tap leak-proof. | Now the drum tap has to be put on the bunghole… | | | … and screwed in – done! You can then place the drum – slightly elevated – sideways on a drum stand, a ramp or pallets, and secure it against rolling away using wedges or squared lumber. Now you can conveniently remove the liquid. |

Before laying down the barrel, make sure the drum tap is closed to avoid leakage!
